Criminal Case Law Update - Laura Dupaix

 

Laura Dupaix joined the Utah Attorney General’s Criminal Appeals Division in 1996. She served as Appeals Section Director from 1999 to 2009, and as Division Director from 2009 until last month, when she stepped down to become a lowly, humble, and dedicated line attorney. She has handled over 200 appeals in the Utah Supreme Court and Utah Court of Appeals. Laura has a bachelor’s degree in history from BYU. She spent her first year of law school at the J. Reuben Clark School of Law, but then transferred to the University of Utah Law School, where she served on the Utah Law Review. She graduated Order of the Coif in 1988. From 1991 to 1994, Laura clerked for the late Justice I. Daniel Stewart, on the Utah Supreme Court.
