Keith Woodwell & Paul Amann


Keith Woodwell

Keith Woodwell is the Director of the Utah Division of Securities, the state agency responsible for licensing and regulating broker-dealers and investment advisers. Keith graduated magna cum laude from the BYU Law School in 1995 and began his career at the law firm of Kesler & Rust in Salt Lake City where he focused on securities law and commercial litigation. After leaving private practice, Keith worked for four years as Associate General Counsel to the Utah State Legislature and then following the September 11, 2001 attacks, took a six-year career detour to work in Washington D.C. and overseas in the National Clandestine Service of the Central Intelligence Agency. In 2008, Keith returned to Utah and was appointed to his current post as Director of the Utah Division of Securities.

 

Paul Amann

Paul Amann is a graduate of the University of Utah College of Law where he won the American Jurisprudence Award for Constitutional Law and served on Law Review. Paul is arguably the most successful ICAC prosecutor in the United States. Paul won the 2007 Attorney General’s Office Attorney of the Year Award and also the 2013 Child Advocate of the Year Award. Paul is currently working in the Markets and Financial Fraud Division handling Anti-Trust cases.
